Unhappy IRCd Problem - Configuration?

Last week I downloaded the IRC daemon version 2.11.2p3 from, and installed in on my Slackware 13 box. I ran ./configure, make all, make install and have edited the ircd.conf file. The daemon starts just fine, although I can only connect one user at a time, and I can't seem to figure out how to become an operator of a channel.

Here is my ircd.conf:
Code: Desc.:6667:000A
A:Domain, Inc.:Admin <>:blueSerf::IRCnet:
From what I have researched on, google and searching the LQ forums, this should be the configuration I need... Although, I can only connect one user at at time (will accept any username) and when I issue "/oper blueOper password" I am still a normal user.

conf, config, configuration, irc, ircd
