Look for /etc/sysconfig/iptables
Does it exist?

It is a warning not an error. The saved rules config file is /etc/sysconfig/iptables (for IPV4). Only essential services should be running on the VPS and therefore may not be necessary. Databases like mysql and postgresql are configured to only listen to localhost.

It does not exist. When i run "service iptables save" it returned "iptables: Saving firewall rules to /etc/sysconfig/iptables:[ OK ]"
and now there is no warning on iptables restart. I read that by saving rules this way, these rules will be applied after system reboot.

No iptables config file after stopping "iptables"

Re-booting the server will NOT bring the service back on-line in all cases (such as mine). I have the iptables-config file in the /etc/sysconfig folder, and have followed the protocol outlined here, but the service is still disabled.

I will update when I resolve.
