Installing linux from windows

Hi

I have two comps here, one with windows and other no OS instaled. The sys with windows has the CD ROM and all other stuff and the other one is a old comp with no CD drive but has floppy drive in it.

Can i install linux in the old comp using the windows sys, like the NFS instllation that u can do using linux.

You could probably set up windows as an internet gateway, and then do a network install using a boot disk on the old comp.
A much simpler way however would be to take your CDROM drive out of the new computer and put it in the old one, install Linux and then put it back again

I thought of doing the same but just curoius to see whether there is any way u could install it that way
