Installing Windows 98 with a Linux OS
Hi all,
Here's my dilema:
Up until today i've had Windows 98 and Linux Redhat installed on my 1st HDD, but today I was forced to format the partition with Windows on (C:\ under Dos)... now i'm in trouble. I need to install Windows '98, but things have got a little more complicated with my Linux installation on
the system. After formating the C:\ I ran Windows setup, but, the program insists on formating my E:\ (linux partition); I am thus, forced to quit the process.
I've also ran Setup.exe from the prompt, where I am instead presented with Scandisk; only, after successfully
checking C:\ and D:\ for errors, it gets to E's 'odd' filing system. If I run scandisk on E:\ and check for errors, things are bound
to screw up.
Any ideas anyone?
I'm going to want to keep the dual boot when all is done too.
Thanks all,
NirvanaII
