Installing a new Hard Disk

Hi to you all!

I have a dual boot configuration and I plan to buy a new Hard Disk soon, preferably with two partitions... one for each operating system. I was wondering what the procedure is for adding a new hard disk in Linux?

just mount it and start using it.

I have added one and moved my /home directory to it.

The real question would be what file system do you want to create on it and what do you want to put on it.

all you really need to do is edit /etc/fstab to mount it once the files are there.

I mounted mine and copied the files to it, then I edited fstab and rebooted to the files on the new drive.

Thanks, I plan to buy a 40 gigabyte Hard Disk and have two partitions on it, one for my Seawolf. I plan to put my /home there too.
