I need a cd that will boot my usb thumb DSL install!

K, its a 1 gig flash drive with Damn Small Linux hd-install on it. Its a complete system, not just a copy of the cd.

I need a cd that will boot the system, my system doesent allow booting from usb (sadly).

Iv tried using the DSL disk but I cant find enough information to boot it with it, iv tried a GRUB.iso cd but it wouldent recognize the drive

If someone could help me with this id be so gratefull, a floppy disk would also work pretty well, but Id much prefer to have the cd so I can just make a tiny one to keep in my wallet =).

Thanks all!

If the system doesn't support booting from USB, it seems like you will have to boot up a different kernel to get usb support going. Could you use a DSL CD, then plug in the USB drive? When you plug in the USB drive, you should be able to mount it from DSL, then chroot to the USB drive. Probably the knoppix.net forums would be a good place to look also. I'm not sure if what I said will help.
