Welcome to LQ!

This forum is just for introducing yourself. That question should be posed in a new thread in the Fedora forum.

Since LQ has over 2,000,000 (yes, two million!) posts, most of our questions when we first start can probably be answered by either a LQ Search or a Google <Linux> search.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-General and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

My first guess is that, if everything else works, you don't have mouse drivers compiled. Look into 'Input devices' in the kernel configuration.

It is a common problem when switching to a later kernel but using an older set of drivers.

Suggest to try

Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"

in xorg.conf or XF86Config-4.
