It should do....support for HP printers under RH is fairly good though there are some things you need to watch out for. There's no problem with USB at all, I've got an HP PSC 750 which is USB and both the scanning & printing with it work fine.
You might need to install a couple of extra bits to get it to work - I did, but I'm using an all-in-one, so I'm not sure if the same is true for laserjets. Try configuring the printer without installing any extras, but if it doesn't work follow the instructions on
