Question How to make exact computer disk image?

I've got Slackware10 installed and configured the way I like it on a laptop of mine which has a CD-RW Drive. I also have another laptop that I want to install Slackware10 on and configure it up like my first one. Is there anyway that I can make an ISO image of my harddrive and install the same setup or stuff on the second computer? What I'am wanting to do is to get both laptops configured the same and running the same way. I am wanting to dabb a little bit in setting up a Beowulf cluster using these two computers and a desktop that I have. Faith Baptist Church

you need disk imaging software... and it'll probably take more than one CD -- which is why you should have a network option. I know of norton (symantec) ghost, and have heard of g4l, though never used g4l, it is open source, but still in beta

You could try taking the hard drive out of the second pc, installing it as a slave in the first pc, and then issuing a command along the lines of "dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb"

That'd give an exact copy of disk 1 onto disk 2, which you could then reinstall in the second PC. . .
