Question How to install Fedora 11 depository?

After installing Fedora 11 on a new drive I noticed that my repository was missing.

I have looked at http://iplist.sourceforge.net/download.html#fedora which should tell me how to do it.
However the instruction is: To add the repository to Fedora copy the appropriate repo file (as root) to /etc/yum.repo.d.and immediately have problems (being a newbie).

I have downloaded by clicking on the line Fedora 11 Repo file as instructed. This gave me home:uljanow.repo, which I believe is the appropriate repo file.

What is meant by "(as root)"? I thought that the root is the "/" file.

I found /etc/yum. Does it mean I have to copy home:uljanow.repo into /etc/yum?

I have tried to this and I successfully copied home:uljanow.repo, but if I try to paste it into /etc/yum, there is no paste command, nor does Crtl-V work.

What did I do wrong and how should I do it, or alternatively, if there is a completely alternative way of doing it, how do I install the depository into Fedora 11?

"As root" means as the root user "su".
Repository information should be on the repository's website under a FAQ section.
You need to use vi or vim or a text editor but it must be done as root.
Have you tried dangermouse's Fedora FAQ section on using the rpm command to import keys and repositories?
You can also install the yumex which allows you to directly add the repository; after which, you will need to import the key by rpm to prevent upgrade stops.
http://www.fedorafaq.org/ dangermouse does this along with others. Fedora 11 isn't on it but use the instructions with the repositories as a guideline.
