How to Enable / Configure Outgoing Emails for External Domains such as GMAIL

From Server1 to user@Server2 emails are flowing fine on the company's network. But from Server1 to user@gmail.com emails are not going.

Where do we need to make changes?

There is not enough information to help you. please list distribution, software being used and any error messages?

My provider stopped providing SMTP service in favor of gmail a while back. I was able to get it to work (I would have to see if I can find out how again) but the problem is all mail showed as coming from one address (my gmail login). I have a web hosing account on from another provider that allowed things to work. I believe your other option is to have all users have a gmail account and send directly through gmail.

Sendmail is in place. I will get more details from the users / reporters.
