how to configure postfix (FD5) to send mails to gmail or any different domains


Hi all,

I have configured postfix has mail server in FD5. the internal mails are working.

But if i am trying to send mails for different domain.
example:user@gmail.com,
not able to send mails get 550 error recipient address rejected

i have the internet connection

Can you post the relevant log entries, and explain what you are trying to do in a bit more detail?

Quoting your original post adds exactly zero value, and doesn't provide us with any additional detail as requested.

Are you trying to send to a gmail account or relay through gmail? I'd guess the former, in which case it doesn't like your server's IP for some reason (probably bad reverse DNS). Why don't you do what it suggests and relay through your ISP's smtp server?
