Can anybody tell me how to create an autorunnable CD in Linux. I have my application with an extension .bin. I want to start this application as soon as I insert the CD into the CDROM drive.
hmm, i think autorun is a feature of the os, not cd. so, it will start if your desktop is configured to mount a cd and start a program found on it.
i use gnome, and more importantly gnome-volume-manager. it letīs you choose easily the actions to take upon inserting/mounting different types of media. http://tuggy.home.sapo.pt/gnome/gnom...me-manager.png
Thanks a lot for your wonderful reply,
If the autorun is the feature of the OS and not the CD, then please tell me how configure it I use KDE. I am using Red Hat 9.0, Mandrake 10, Fedora Core 1 and Debian 3 . I need to apply the same in all the OS. Please tell me how do I do for all these?????????
