How to convert FAT partition to ext2


Hi,


I have a FAT partition in my hard disk.I want to convert it to ext2 partition. I have fedora core 3 OS in my system. Can someone tell me how to do this?

you can't "convert" it, you need to foramt it completely e.g "mke2fs -j /dev/hda1" that will create an ext3 partition (which i'm sure you'd prefer over real ext2)
