Cool how to boot using LILO

hai everybody,

I just want to know how to boot using LILO boot loader , even though i have GRUB. But everytime the system is started am able to get to GRUB. How can i use LILO instead of GRUB to boot my system. Is there any options?

Thanks in advance.

It does the same thing. In Debian all you have to do is install Lilo with apt and then run lilo from command line. That will install lilo to the mrb.

Thank you natewlew ,

but my question is to use LILO to boot, ignoring GRUB in case where both the boot loaders are present.

I don't think both boot loaders can be present in the mrb. You can have both bootloaders installed but the one that is been writen to the mrb is the one that you will see when you boot your system. Once you install lilo and run the command lilo grub will no longer be present in the mrb.
