How does linux support Hyper-Threading?


I thought linux would add some improvement in its scheduler with SMP support, and nothing else.

Am I right?

Linux treats HT just like Windows does - as two seperate processors.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is.

afaik it's fully supported in 2.6
