Question How do I use my USB guitar on Fedora 19

I have a Behrenger iAxe393 guitar. It has all the usual electric guitar inputs/outputs and also has a USB connection. Originally it came with software from native-instruments.com called Guitar Combos. It also included Audacity and an ASIO driver. I've finally made the switch to an all Linux laptop but would like to play around with my guitar via the usb connection but I don't know what software I need to get it working. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

I don't run Fedora but maybe this will help, or not.

It should be as simple as installing Audacity on your system (Audacity has a Linux version) and changing the input channel in the software to your guitars soundcard.

Not sure you can use the usb in linux unless you try a vm or maybe in wine. I rather doubt it in wine.

The headphone output might be used on a sound in card. Then use audacity to record.

To use the normal guitar connector, you'd need a linux supported type device. I have used a ux2 but the software still doesn't work in wine to make effects.

They claim this.

"Create Music Now! Incredibly powerful energyXT2 Compact music production software and Audacity editing
software—both with full portability on all PC, Mac or Linux computer"

I think they mean create with audacity

Audacity notes this for asio.
"On Linux, JACK is an API that provides both low latency audio communication and audio routing between applications. Latest versions of Audacity support JACK fairly well, but with some limitations. "
