How do I stop sendmail from loading ... ?

I never use it and after I log in it always says 'no mail'. What file is this in so I can remove it? Also for security reasons are there other things I should disable at start-up?

thanks

do you send mail out from your system? sendmail does that too. naturally you can get rid of it if you want, or just turn it off with chkconfig

AFAIR You don't need to run the sendmail daemon to send mail out, only to receive mail.
