How Do I See My Linux Partition From Windows XP?

I'm in Windows XP running the NTFS file system. I have my Windows partition on the master hard drive and my Slackware 10.0 partition on the slave drive. Slackware can see my Windows partition just fine but Windows doesn't see my Linux partition at all. I'm running ReiserFS. How do i make Windows see it? Do i need to download a program to do this? If so what program?

i dont think you can without having your linux up and running SAMBA.

i could be wrong, but that is how little i understand it to be.

NTFS driver

You must be using an NTFS module for your kernel in order to mount an NTFS partition. Fedora Core 2 (and others) have some options for this here, and instructions are on the site as well: http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/fedora2.html

Download and follow instructions. They should be easy to follow, they're geared towards newbies.

After installing the NTFS kernel module, to mount an NTFS partition automatically on startup, create a folder in your /mnt folder edit your /etc/fstab as root and add the line:

Code:
/dev/hde1 /mnt/folderyoumade ntfs ro,umask=0222 0 0
and type mount -a to make changes take effect immediately
