I want to increase my Linux partition.Should I take space from a Windows partition?

When I found out Linux was only given a 2.7 partition,I was very peeved.My WinXP partition is only 42% full,with 64.9 GB.Should I take 10 GB from Windows?If I should,how can I?I want to run Linux Neverwinter Nights,which requires around 2.6 GB.

I would probably use something like partition magic for this task. I don't think the gnu parted application will resize the windows partition but I could be wrong.
