Exclamation How Can i change the Interface speed without the mii-tool?


I have Linux 2.2.12 and i tried to change the interface speed to 100 Full Duplex, but i cant change it, and i try to install the mii-tool to do it but the card doesnt support this tool, how can i do it without the mii-tool?

How about the ethtool?

/sbin/ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex full autoneg off

Doesn't recoignize this command ethtool, has Linux other comand to change it? or is possible to chage it manually modifing some files?
