Question Help Needed, Upgrading to Mandrake 9.0

I need some help upgrading Mandrake 8.2 to 9.0. I have copies of the CD's, (issued on the cover of LinuxFormat magazine), but cannot seem to get the IBM PC Server 310 to boot from them.

Some sort of ISOLinux Error, trying to 'wing it'. Had the same problem with Redhat 8.0 as well.

Is there a way to copy the cd's to the hard drive and upgrade from there?

Very much a newbie, need good instructions...

Many Thanks!

are u trying to boot from the CD? If so, make sure your BIOS will do this.

are u trying an update while running 8.2? If so, mount the CD and
read INSTALL.txt
My 8.2 CD has a live_update script. Check your 9.0
