Hi, I have WindowMaker in my default GUI, and I would like to change for GNOME, I have a slackware 9.0, how can I do that? and how can I start the GNOME GUI? or KDE?

change your ~/.xinitrc
it should read

#for kde:
exec startkde

#for gnome (I think I haven't used it in a while )
exec gnome-session

[Edit]
