Got a general question 'bout programs available for linux

Is there a good Dreamweaver equivalent for linux ?
I tried Coffee cup, but on my RH I didn't make it to install it correctly but if I will sometime is it good ?
If not do you know another good html/javascript program ?
To begin with PHP how can I best proceed ?

Sorry for all these questions, but I try to completely switch on to Linux ( which is good, no ? )

Thanks for answering my questions.

I actually never used HTML editors personally. If you want to find a good list of them. Go to www.tucows.com and search for HTML JAVA and whatever else you're looking for and search for them in Linux. Most of them will have an RPM that you can install and try them out. They're all rated by the users who have downloaded and used them so that can be a guide for you as well. The best one that I've heard of is Coffee Cup but I think you have to purchase the real version to get the full effect of it. Good luck

HTML Editor

I can relate to your wanting to switch over to linux. I am in the process of that myself. Don't know how long it will take me but that is my goal. The HTML editor I use is bluefish. This is a simple HTML editor but serves the purpose for the type of webpages i deal with. Although it may be to simple for your needs. Check it out, you never know.
