quick question bout python

Ok, I have linspire 4.5 on my computer atm and would like to learn Python programming language, here is my problem, I know NOTHING bout programming at all. I have been reading http://www.python.org/moin/BeginnersGuide but do not understand half of what they are talking about. What I would like to know is, does anyone of you know anywhere to go to that would put it so simply that ANYONE could understand it? I need the absolute simplest version of docs possible if you pls. I will be the first to tell you I am an "ID10T ERROR" when it comes to talking bout me, as far as everyone else I do not see anyone else as stupid, just under-informed, but I am stupid lol for real. pls help me out to get started on Python.

You should start with some of the links on this page instead.

This one is very easy to get started with.

If you have any questions, just post them on this thread.

Hi!

I'd also like to recommend a free .pdf book. I found it very well written, though, a bit math driven. Nonetheless is a great book and the thanks goes a friend I made in this forum (whom I'll be programming games with python in a soon future ).

I hope it helps.

Good luck!
