getting system information thru web browser


How do i get the client system information ( processor type, amount of RAM,OS name etc) using web based programs like jsp,php,asp or perl

You could use just about anything CGI and cat the info in the /proc filesystem.

You might want to look at webmin, too.

that will only get the info about the server.
i need the info abt the client system
and it should be platform independence.
