Web Browser only access to system

I wish to setup a couple of linux machines in a shop but only give access to two websites through a browser. There is to be no access to the operating system etc to prevent people trashing the system although I would need a method of resetting the machine myself. I do not intend to run any other applications on these machines.

Are there any ready made solutions to this requirement?

Any suggestions please.

Cheers

to allow only access to 2 websites, perhaps this thread

may help you.
To define a restricted KDE-menu for users (like windows GPO“s) is an interesting topic....

If you mean a kiosk like setup you could look at this: http://extragear.kde.org/apps/kiosktool/
IIRC there are also some ready made livecd's for this you could search for. Basically I suppose you can just disable ttys to lock it down and boot into single user for administration. If you set a BIOS password it would be quite secure.
