Flash plugin

I have Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.0 running on my laptop and I am using Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 as the web browser. I was able to download and install the flash plugin for the browser, and obviously I installed the plugin as the root. Now the problem is, this plugin is not available for other users.

In short, flash animations are displayed within the browser if you are logged in as root. Otherwise it says plugin missing. Can anyone suggest me how to fix this problem ?

Maybe you need to give read and execute permissons for the flash plugin to other users.

copied the files
/root/.mozilla/plugins/flashplayer.xpt
and
/root/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

INTO /home/user/.mozilla/plugins/
