I found a link at Lifehacker (I love that site!) that goes over the main points of Fedora, OpenSUSE, and Ubuntu.

Also, I got a chance to play around with OpenSUSE yesterday. The Yast feature makes me think of it as a much more useful, hyped-up version of what in Windows is the Control Panel.
Note: I was trying to get it setup as a gateway, but it wasn't cooperating. (I
don't know if this hints at anything or not.)
