If they don't support my mobo then there's something gravely wrong with that picture. It's a very popular/common mobo... not even high-end, but mid-range.

Looking at their HCL... yes they do have it listed under: nvidia nforce 590 SLI

I found a link at Lifehacker (I love that site!) that goes over the main points of Fedora, OpenSUSE, and Ubuntu. Here it is: http://lifehacker.com/5054510/battle-of-the-linux-distros

Also, I got a chance to play around with OpenSUSE yesterday. The Yast feature makes me think of it as a much more useful, hyped-up version of what in Windows is the Control Panel.
Note: I was trying to get it setup as a gateway, but it wasn't cooperating. (I don't know if this hints at anything or not.)
