I am quite new at Linux and these forums have been a huge help in figuring out problems.
I need help with a problem that really bugs me.
I installed Mandrake Linux 10 Beta 1 yesterday with the 2.6 kernel. There are several files I would like to find using the "Find Files" option in K menu. Find Files starts fine, but when I type a file name to search for and click search, the program freezes. I get no errors, just no response from the program. Any idea's? Let me know if there is any other information you need about my system. Thanks.

Might just be a bug in the GUI tool your using. Can you search from the command using find with any problems? You can also use locate as well which work great.
