Enlightenment and Gnome / KDE

I was wondering if anyone had luck in running Enlightenment in KDE, or if it not possible because KDE uses its own window manager?

ALso, does anyone know where I go to hack the Enlightenment files to makes different voices / phrases? For example, when you have audio events active and select exit, it asks you if you really want to. Where do I go?

Hi
For changing the default manager look in /usr/bin/startkde
at the bottom you 'll see this;

# finally, give the session control to the session manager
# Syntax: ksmserver [--restore] [--windowmanager <wm>]
# if no windowmanager is specified, ksmserver will ensure kwin is started.
# [--restore] should be controlled by kdm
# ---this was the default--- ksmserver --restore
ksmserver --windowmanager enlightenment

fire it up and you 'll see a kde layer ( which you can move)
put over your enlightenment session. Works for other managers as well.
And try for inst. the kicker command in a different windowmanager, gives you a semi kde look. In the early
kpanel days there used to be a
-no-kde-compliant-window-manager option dunno if this
goes for kicker as well.
good luck
