Downloading Linux Distros

When i go to the linux distro site to download a linux. My mouse pointer becomes stuck with the browser hand or hangs IE. What is the deal with the browsing becoming unusable when downloading a distro of linux?

I does this when i highlight the regign or download area and all a sudden my mouse and browser hang. Is this typical MS or do i have to dowload them on a linux box?

Buh? No this is not just typical MS, nor do you a linux box to download linux...at a guess I'd say it was more to do with your internet connection... out of curiosity WHICH distro site are you talking about, and have you tried getting it from a different mirror?

Is it an FTP site

happens with IE

try other browsers, like firebird
