download iso


what do i need to downlaod md5sum along with linux iso from linuxiso.org?
what do md5sum do?

can those iso be burn into disk in windows using nero?
i think nero dont have anything to do with md5sum?

Yes Nero will burn the ISO to cd, I did it over the weekend.

The md5sum is to verifiy that the iso file you download has downloaded correctly, dont ask how you do it, because I didnt use it.

At the command line, type:

md5sum <name of ISO file>

When the process is complete, the command will display a string of numbers and text. Compare this string of text with the contents of the md5sum file you've downloaded along with your .ISO.

If the numbers match, you've got yourself a proper .ISO file.
