Question Do I can del them?

Hi all,

When I check /var/spool/mquese

I just discovered that a file eat up 320MB of space after enter

#ls -lh |more

It show me that

-rw---- root root 320M Feb 19 22:40 dfh1J9mh021929

and so on like that etc all by root root which different size.

Now, my Linux box is RH 7.2 with sendmail running, but no free space. after enter "df -h"

Do I can del all files in /var/spool/mqueue to free up the space to save the mail for the user?

hell yeah.

but first read some of the mail there and try to find who is sending it - presumably some service is failing on your system. then you can fix it or remove the service if you don't need it.
