Display problem please help


Hi all
i've setup fedora core 6 successfully but after rebooting my monitor displays nothing. When im trying to boot fedora, after displaying ok for some process my monitor goes gown (it says "out of range")no display at all. What can i do? Please help.




My system is:

Intel pentium 2.20 GHz
Intel DG 31 mainboard (graphic and sound card builtin)
RAM 2 GB
View sonic M50 Monitor

I suggest you use a current version of fedora (Fedora 10), it'll probably recognise your hardware without any problems.
Fedora Core 6 is rather old.

thnks a lot. is fedora 10 supports pata hard disk. I dont know but while im trying above fe6 on pata hard disk the installations process stops after a while.

Yes, it does. Just give it a try. You can download live images (either Gnome or KDE) to see if everything works.
