I have a 2GHz speed processor machine. I have a display monitor of Samsung 17" flat 753 dfxs Model. I had previously installed RH 8.0, Now I want to upgrade the OS to RH 9.0.


When I boot from the RH 9 CD and try to upgrade, once the probing of the monitor starts, I do not see any disaply on the screen. I am able see the monitor light blinking. I waited for a long time but still it was of no use. Later I upgraded the OS to RH 9 in text mode sucessfully.

Even when I boot the machine in Leve 3 and login and issue the "startx" command. The monitor light keeps on blinking but not able to see any GUI display.

I am using Asus 9520 AGP card. I have a duel boot. The same display works good with windows.

Can any one help me to fix this problem.
