cp or mv: skipping file...it was replaced

We have Development box running RHEL AS 3.0 and has Samba running.

From the production box the development box is mounted as a samba share.

Files are copied from the development samba share mounted on the production box to the local filesystem on the production box.

However, when we run cp or mv to transfer files we received ...skipping file issue.

[root@calinux01 20041013]# cp -
uf /home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/* .
cp: skipping file
`/home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/enw_banner.jpg', as it was
replaced while being copied
cp: skipping file
`/home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/enw_logo.jpg', as it was
replaced while being copied
cp: skipping file
`/home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/header_dosimetry.jpg', as
it was replaced while being copied
cp: skipping file
`/home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/index.html', as it was
replaced while being copied
cp: skipping file
`/home/websites/development/dev.aureusmed/email/enw/index.txt', as it was
replaced while being copied

Any insights are greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

It might be a bug in your version of core utils.
