I am a designer looking for CorelDraw 9 for linux, I have searched all over the web and cant find it, and Corel dont have it anymore. All the designers I deal with use Corel on MS,but I use GIMP etc..and as they send all their files in a corel *cdr format I cant read it.I am not prepared to go and spend a fortune on MS Windows, corel etc,so if any one knows a link where I can get it,would be most grateful
Corel did, at one point, release their product for Linux. But that was couple of years ago. Probably at this point, your best bet is to try to install it with either Wine or Crossover Office.
Thanks..I will check the bittorrent sites, I dont want to use Wine or Crossover as they are commercial products, and I still need to own Corel Draw, which defeats the objective. I may as well use MS.
