Console font problem?

All,

A colleague's CentOS 5.4 box has had a few issues lately. All have been resolved successfully accept for one. During bootup, and once logged into the console, regardless of user, the following message appears any time a command is issued: "bad character height 0". It doesn't appear lethal, but is very annoying. Of course, I've googled this, but there's liitle useful info. Does anyone have any idea how I might fix it?

Please post the messages around that one. Have you looked at the log files?

Sorry, I'm off-site, so can't post messages around it. IIRC, there are no log entries associated with this issue. Additionally, the arror does not appear in the client if I SSH into the box. It only appears in the box's console, and pretty much any time text is entered or output.
