Smile Console font

Hello. I recently installed slackware 10.2 on a computer and I was amazed. The console font was smaller than usual and the was in the top-left corner. Now, I did nothing for that, altough I kind of like the console font, I thought it was just a change from 10.1 to 10.2. I installed 10.2 on another computer and there was no fancy console. Please tell me how can I control my console. Thank you.

Apparently The first (install) is using the framebuffer, the second isn't

Talking

Now I've got another problem. I managed to get at the menu with the video modes, and I tried them all, and I liked 1, which resembled the mode on the other computer. But how can I make the pengy appear at the top?

i found that an easy way to set the frame buffer (if you use lilo to boot) is to uncomment the line in /etc/lilo.conf that you find works for you computer (under the framebuffer section). then run lilo and reboot.
