Configuring a Canon N650U under Red Hat 7.2

Has anyone tried to configure a Canon N650U Scanner under Red Hat 7.2? Sane says it is not possible at this time.

They are correct as its not possible cause its not supported cause I have the same scanner, still have a dual boot on one machine so I can use it still.
