Changing where a shortcut points

Slackware 9.0 running Gnome

I just updated to Mozilla 1.5b but the links still open 1.3.

I can open the new browser by opening a terminal and typing ./run-mozilla.sh in the installed directory.

Once I open it from the terminal though, the links (desktop and Applications menu) open 1.5b browsers. But once I close the 1.5b run from the terminal, the links open 1.3 again.

In Windows, I can edit where the shortcuts point from right click-Properties. How is it done in Linux?

How do I make the shortcuts open 1.5b?

Thanks. Sean.

Re: Changing where a shortcut points

i think in Gnome you have to make a new launcher (shortcut) -- (right click -> new launcher). put the path to the new mozilla in the command line (probably /usr/bin/mozilla) and set an icon for it.
