Can't Install Windows back onto my SimplyMEPIS pc.

I am on a DELL Dimension 4100 that previously had Windows XP Home edition on it. I installed SimplyMEPIS 3.4-3 on it. When I try to put my Windows install cd and boot into the Windows installation, it doesn't work. It just boots normally into mepis like there wasnt even a cd. The floppy reinstall disks don't work either. The wierd thing is that other livecd's work such as ubuntu. What do I need to do to get Windows back? (don't worry, i'll soon be installing linux back

Create a (primary) fat32 partition and mark it bootable/active.

Where do I do that? And after that, do i just boot into it and let the cd start up? Thanks.
