can't get programs running on 2nd monitor

hi crew
i was just wondering if somebody knows about the nvidia(ti4200) second monitor process (not Twinview).
i got my second monitor running on fedora core but i can't seem to get my mouse on the second screen or for that matter get any application windows on it. is their something i have to do to start working on this sceen, or do i get a second mouse. someone please help.....
