that may be an option but i have an easier method. all i did was burn it using K3B. i did a iso burn in it and when it asked me to select an iso file, i selected the .mdf file instead. the result, K3B read it and after a min was ready to burn.i burnt it and now the dvd works beautifully. its good to know that K3B is so versatile

All this time I've been using "mdf2iso" to convert the .mdf file to an .iso and then using K3b to burn it... I didn't know that K3b can handle .mdf's the same as .iso's.

mdf2iso only supports cd format not dvd format.
I've not find any good program which can burn .mdf files (dvd layout).
