Booting into linux (in SmallLinux)

So check this one out ... I got a linux distrobution running on my 25Mhz 4MB lapper!! I think it's totally sweet. It's really minimal, like you can't do anything at all, but it's cool.

So ...

I'm getting lilo ready to go so that it can boot on its own. But I'm not sure what to do as far as MBRs go .... How can I get lilo in my MBR? Without compiling anything or stuff like that

Important note: I installed a drive overlay utility for Windows 95 to expand the 5??MB BIOS maximum drive size to it's full 8??MB size. As far as I know, the linux kernel (even though my kernel is really old), overrides the BIOS and goes staight to the hardware, so this overlay isn't needed. But I'm not too wise on this, so I'll just say I have an overlay present. I believe it resides in the MBR, but I'm not sure.

Well ... does anybody know how to kill the stuff in the MBR then? If I can smash my MBR, I could rebuild it properly - ontrack does not want to get out of it ...
