bootable linux CD

I'm running Slack 9.1 and i having some problems with installing lilo on my hdd so i want to make a boot cd for starting up my slack. In redhat it was simple, i made a bootable floppy and with nero i burned it on cd. But with slack i couldn't (the makebootdisk makes some strange bootable floppy 1,6MB?). How could i make a bootable syslinux cd or a lilo bootable cd. thanx for your help.

You could make a lilo boot floppy which does not contain a kernel and is therefore small. See section 8 of this HOWTO:

Ok, so i figured it out. I made a dos bootable cd and loaded linux with loadlin. it works just well. to that lilo thing, i tried to install lilo to my hdd, but i always get error 9A at boot, anz suggestions how to repair it?
