Question Non-bootable Linux

I'm just starting with Linux. I decided to improve the performance of my old laptop (Toshiba Tecra8000- 128Mb RAM and 6GB HD).

I need to keep the Win98 working so I installed the Fedora Core 1 distribution with the Grub loader.

The installation was successful, but (here is the problem) I can only boot Win98!! Grub seems to not be installed propperly.

My partitions (done with the distribution wizard)
\dev\hda1 VFAT for WIN98 1,8GB
\dev\hda2 Extended
\dev\hda5 ext3 for Linux 2,2GB
\dev\hda6 n/a for SWAP 0,2GB
\dev\hda7 VFAT for User files 2,0GB

Grub is supposed to be installed in the MBR with the Win98 as default option.

I tryed to use the Loadlin but I need the zImage or bzImage that I can't get.

Any Ideas?
Thnks
