I've got apache running on Mandrake 9.1 in a lan, I can access the computer directly through the lan using its name
eg: h t t p : / /
evil
but I also have a domain name which I want to run from this machine I've set the machine up as DMZ host on my ADSL router so that all requests come to this machine, so far I can send and receive emails from myself @
mydomain .
com

however I cannot get to access www
.mydomain.
com
or even
mydomain.
com,

any ideas on what i could be doing wrong? on a previous installation I had

. mydomain
. com
working but not
www .
mydomain .
com or just mydomain
.com

Can you access your webserver jsut using your ip address from an external site.

Then if that is ok - see if your doamin resolves to your public IP address:
dig www.mydomain.com A

Are you trying to run multimple different doamins from your web server?
