The
ClamAV package is what most folks that need AV scanning use. However, this is primarily to scan emails when using the Linux system as a mail/file server, to prevent downstream Windows users from getting a virus/trojan/worm. The number of Linux viruses is so small, and the method of infection so difficult (usually requires user cooperation), that there are no effective Linux viruses.
